Roots Intertwined is an interdisciplinary performance event featuring contemporary dance, live music, and documentary film centered on the interconnected beauty of the human spirit, resiliency, and the tradition and influence of Roots through the inspiration of funk. The event will include two concert performances at the Ailey Citigroup Theater @ The Ailey Studios, October 11, 2025 at 7pm and October 12, 2025 at 3pm. There will be a workshop series in movement, dance, and percussion, October 13, 2025 from 12-6pm at Gibney Dance at 280 Broadway, New York, NY. We look forward to seeing you there!
